The organization which peak my interest was "The Global Alliance For The Education OF Young
Children" (http://www.naeyc.org/resources/paternship/globalalliance). I have sent 2 emails and still no response. NAEYC provides an high - quality of learning for children from birth to 8 years old. Also, NAEYC supports all diverse cultures and support all who care for educating on behalf of young children. I chose NAEYC due to they support the following:
  1. Respect the dignity and uniqueness of each individual child and their family members,
and colleagues.

     2.  Recognize children and adults achieve their full potential in the context of relationships that
are based on trust and respect.

     3.  Recognize children are best understood and supported in the context of family, culture, community, and society.

NAEYC provides excellent training classes for Early Childhood Professional and with that being said, I will continue to reach by sending another email, and if no response by next week I will
be will to change.

ESTABLINGS CONTACTS OUTSIDED THE UNITED STATES

I’ve taken several workshops under “NAEYC” given in Chicago, IL. Therefore, I decide to subscribe to the following countries which are Africa & Europe under the “Global Alliance” For The Education Of Young Children”. I have phone them and sent an email to webmaster@naeyc.org .

The Global Alliance for the Education of Young Children provides an “opportunity for early childhood associations from countries throughout the world to distribute materials and share information about programs and services, so that members of the participating organizations will have access to a greater range of early childhood resources”.

Also, for the last 3 years to present I’m receiving information from Zero To Three. They email me once or twice a week with keep me abreast about the development of our children we serve.

MY DALIEY SUPPORT

I can actually say, “My Dailey Support” comes for God whom gives me the strength to go about my day to serve others. Then theirs my family that tells me, I can finish whatever I’m doing.  For example, my sons and daughter come to visit and don’t see in the living room or kitchen they will hell up stairs and say, “You must be in the computer room doing homework”.  I would reply by saying yes, and both of them would say “care on call us if, you need to know something or spell a word”.  Then theirs my Husband is really supportive of me.

He reminds me Education is something No one can take from you.  Lastly there is my Dad, who’s gone to be with the Lord always said, to do my best and I trying to keep up the good fight. My mom and siblings who still gives support each day.  They will call ask how the daycare is coming along, and when I’m sick each of them are there to mined me back together.  Without this great support team I believe sometimes it would be hard for me to manage on a Dailey base, I would like to thank each for being Supportive of Me.

MY CONNECTION TO PLAY

Quotes that describe how I feel about “Play”
Play is our brain's favorite way of learning.
Diane Ackerman
Contemporary American author
Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning.
Fred Rogers
American television personality
1928–2003

Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.
O. Fred Donaldson
Contemporary American martial arts master

I choose all 3 quotes because, all of them resonate to my childhood.  The first quote reminds me of, how my mother taught my 2 sisters and me to cook in our Easy Bake Oven.  We had to remember how much to add when baking a cake and cooks.  This made use our “Brain” to think, and yes we did.  One time I put too much water in the cake mix and mom said, “Its ok this time we, will add a little more.  The second quote resonates due to as a child, I would pretend to be the teacher when playing outside or in the house on rainy days with my siblings.  When child notice parents taking up where, their teacher’s leave off shows their child / children, they are very interesting in their learning.   In my third quote: As a professional in the Early Childhood Field”, ones should be aware of other alter nativities to get children to learn which include: Play Therapy, using pegs and beads for counting / Math.  In today’s society I believe parents and the school system has forgotten the meaning of “Play and how their parents allowed them to “Play” after school.  Children are sitting in the house becoming obese because, their parents are buying video games instead of allowing their child / children to exercise their development.  In exercising ones development means coming hone doing one’s homework, cleaning around the house and going outside when weather permits.  My mom taught my sisters and me how to cook well as play jacks on the floor with us, and still today my mom who’s 76 years old and get around like she’s 65 still will play a game of Jacks with us”.  In my home town I understand why some parent are against their children interacting with others because, children are caring weapons such as guns, and parents are very afraid as their child / children step outside to “PLAY”

Relationship Reflection

Building a relationship does take effort, time and work.   In this relationship is Love, Loyalty, and Respect and God.  .  I’ve known the love of my life for 25 years.  We laugh, talk, we agree to disagree, and been married to him for 13 years.  I’m not going to say everyday was peaches and cream but, I can say that we, have grown together.
My next relationship is with my parents and siblings which, I love dearly.  We are a close net family.  Yes, we disagree to agree but, in the end we come together as a whole.  There’s my children, I try to instill the same values my parent put in me and I can say, we are proud parents of 2 sons and 1 daughter.

My next relationship is with my Daycare children and their parents.  I love them.  I will go the extra mile and they have for me.  For example, When, I was in the hospital each parent took the time and made sure I was well take care of, by doing little things such, taking turns going on field trips, helping out with lunches and where ever needed.   Each caregiver, provider and teacher if, they don’t need to have a relationship with their parents.  I’m not saying be buddy – buddy just try to guide and show them how important it is to help perfect the growth and development of their child / children.
